ALLAN MURRAY, P. ENG.
President, Partner
Allan is President and one of three founding partners of Concentric Associates International Inc., a Canadian owned and federally incorporated multi-disciplinary consulting firm. The firm’s expertise and core service sectors are Facility Assessment and Rehabilitation, Structures, Indoor Air Quality, and the Environment.
Allan, in concert with the other founding partners, is responsible for overall strategic direction of the firm, including project delivery, client management, identification of opportunities, partnering, growth, expansion, technical development, marketing, and business development. Allan also maintains considerable involvement in a variety of project related work.

PAUL MATERGIO, CET
Vice President, Partner
Paul is Vice-President and one of three founding partners of Concentric Associates International Incorporated. Paul has worked in the consulting engineering field for over 25 years and has completed projects throughout Canada and overseas.
Paul, in concert with the other founding partners, is responsible for overall strategic direction of the firm, including project delivery, client management, identification of opportunities, partnering, growth, expansion, technical development, marketing, and business development. Paul also maintains considerable involvement in a variety of project related work and mentoring of staff.

ROBERT HOAD, C. TECH., CMI
Corporate Chief, Partner
Robert, in concert with the other founding partners, is responsible for overall strategic direction of the firm, including project delivery, client management, identification of opportunities, partnering, growth, expansion, technical development, marketing, and business development.
Robert also remains active with a variety of project related work and provides 25 years of experience in facility assessment and rehabilitation related to hazardous and designated substances, indoor air quality, and contaminated sites assessment/remediation. His project experience extends across Canada, including the high arctic and includes the assessment of numerous Canadian Forces military installations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

ANDREW ROSS, P. ENG.
Operations Chief
As the Production Manager for Concentric, Andrew’s focus is on successful and efficient project delivery. This includes working with the production staff and team leads to ensure that project deliverables are well understood, staff resources are suitably assigned, technical oversight is provided, and our product exceeds client expectations. In direct communication with the Business Development Manager and Operations Chief, Andrew provides information on current and upcoming company workloads, production timelines and recommendations for additional production staff and resources.
In addition to his management role above, Andrew provides senior level structural engineering instruction to staff and continues to provide a variety of structural design and project management to various clients in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors.

AARON GOWANLOCK, LIC.TECH.OAA.
Aaron joined Concentric in 2011 following seven years of working for an engineering and architecture firm. Aaron has a variety of experience in both structural and architectural fields performing work on many different types of buildings, including preparing construction drawings, contract administration, building envelope design and investigation, extensive building code analysis, and architectural design of new and retrofit buildings.
Aaron graduated from the Architectural Technology program at Fanshawe College in 2004. Aaron’s credentials also include certification from OACETT as an Applied Science Technologist and recently his experience has also been recognized by becoming certified by the Ontario Association of Architects as a Licensed Technologist OAA.

GINA FREDETTE, B.A.
Corporate Administrator
Gina graduated with a BA in Communications and joined Concentric as a Corporate Administrator in 2005. Gina is primarily involved in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, human resources and coordinating the day to day administrative responsibilities at Concentric.

HEATHER SCHUYLER, C.TECH.
Heather joined Concentric in August 2010 and has over 16 years of consulting experience. Her experience includes coordination and execution of Environmental Compliance Audits, asbestos surveys, industrial hygiene services (personal and ambient air monitoring), groundwater sampling and Environmental Site Assessments for a wide range of property uses, including large industrial facilities. Heather is considered a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment specialist, having undertaken in excess of 400 Phase I projects over the course of her career. Her experience extends across Canada (including the arctic) and into the United States, serving both public and private sector clients.
At Concentric, Heather is responsible for preparation and overall administration of proposal submissions for the company, in addition to corporate administration duties.

JASON VAN ASSELT, A.SC.T.
Jason graduated from the Architectural Technology program at Fanshawe College in 2007 and has since gained certification as an Applied Science Technologist through OACETT. Jason joined Concentric in September 2014 and has over seven years of consulting experience.
As a member of the Building and Infrastructure Business Unit at Concentric, Jason’s primary focus is creating and editing architectural and structural drawings for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
In addition to the role above, Jason’s previous work experience in the Architectural field provided him with a wide range of experience which enables him to assist in a wide range of field activities. His previous on-site experience includes inspection, construction review, reporting, surveying, and general project coordination.

KATHLEEN PERRY-THERIAULT
Kathleen joined Concentric in October 2014 as a structural engineer-in-training. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from McGill University. Kathleen is currently working towards achieving her engineering licence in the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
As a member of the Building & Infrastructure Business Unit, Kathleen has worked on various engineering related projects in many different sectors including industrial, institutional, commercial and residential. Kathleen is responsible for on-site assessments, detailed analysis and design, client relations, construction review, and reporting.

LEE LUEKEN, B.ENG
Lee graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016. He joined Concentric in May 2016 as a structural engineer-in-training and is currently pursuing his engineering license with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
As a junior engineer in the Buildings and Infrastructure Business Unit, Lee’s duties include structural design and analysis, on-site assessments, construction review and reporting. He has worked on many engineering projects in various sectors such as industrial, agricultural, commercial and residential.

NANCY CALDWELL, BA (HONS)
Nancy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography (Environment and Resource Management) from the University of Western Ontario. From 1995 to 2003 Nancy was a project manager for the Illinois State Geological Survey where she was responsible for overseeing Environmental Site Assessments for transportation-related projects. Prior to joining Concentric in 2009, Nancy served as the London branch manager for AGAT Laboratories.
A seasoned environmental manager, Nancy is responsible for business procurement and project management, with particular focus on Concentric’s indoor-related services such as asbestos assessments, designated substance surveys, and mould and indoor air quality assessments. Nancy has undertaken and managed a wide range of these assignments for clients in both the public and private sectors across Canada. In addition, in her role as technical advisor, Nancy provides technical guidance and report reviews for all indoor environmental projects.

ORY SAWKA, B. ENG.
Ory graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering. He joined Concentric in December 2015 as a structural engineer-in-training. Ory is currently working towards achieving his engineering license with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
As a member of the Buildings and Infrastructure Business Unit, Ory’s responsibilities include structural analysis and design, on-site assessments, reporting, project coordination, client relations, and construction review.

RANDY SCOTT
Randy is a senior building envelope consultant and project manager. Randy, in concert with the other members of the building and infrastructure business unit, is responsible for investigation, design and supervision of building envelope repairs and upgrades; including roofing, glazing and cladding systems. Projects run the gamut from small investigative and forensic assignments, through to large or complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure development.
Randy is a member of Concentric’s mentoring and supervisorial staff, his responsibilities include overseeing junior members of the building and infrastructure business unit, project management and design supervision. Randy has project management training and is assigned to large multi-disciplinary projects, typically in excess of five million dollars in construction costs.

Lead Project Manager
As the Lead Project Manager at Concentric, Steve is responsible for the assignment, overall scheduling, and coordination of projects while providing oversight to the Project Manager group. In direct communication with the Production Manager, Steve is responsible for streamlining project delivery and skill development of junior staff in concert with the Lead Designer and Lead QA/QC.
Steve joined Concentric in 2007 and is a licenced Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) as well as the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (NAPEGG).
Steve has over 10 years of experience with on-site assessment, analysis, design, contract administration, construction review, reporting, project coordination, and project management on projects from inception to completion. Steve has worked in many different sectors including Agricultural, Food Processing, Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Residential.

SUZANNE MCCRACKEN
Suzy graduated from the Architectural Technology program at Algonquin College in 2013 before joining Concentric in 2015. Suzy’s key roles include drafting architectural and structural drawings for a range of projects including industrial, commercial and residential. She is also responsible for environmental on-site inspections, sampling and reporting.
In addition to the role above, Suzy’s previous work experiences enable her to assist in a variety of activities which include planning and development, design and general project coordination.

ALAN BRENNER, P.ENG., M.TECH.
Alan Brenner joined the Concentric team in July of 2010. Alan obtained his interprovincial journeyperson status in the Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) trade in 2002, and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2004, both from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
Al has spent most of his 16 year working career in the agricultural and mining industries in various roles ranging from service technician, to draftsman and project manager. Al oversees the operations of Concentric’s Saskatoon office and assists in design work for the buildings and infrastructure group. Al completed his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in 2013.

LUC COCHET, A.SC.T.
Luc graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in 2008 and has been working in the agriculture and mining industry since graduation. Luc recently received his A.Sc.T. designation with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians.
Luc joined Concentric in 2010 as a drafts person and has advanced into a designer and technical advisor role. His expertise is often focused on agribusiness and buildings and infrastructure projects, but he also assists with environmental projects when needed.
