Background
Concentric was retained to review water infiltration occurring at select units on the east elevation of a fourteen (14) storey residential condominium building.
Approach & Methodology
Our investigation concluded that the steel shelf angles on the east elevation of the building exhibited widespread and severe corrosion on the seven (7) upper floors. Concentric prepared tender documents and provided site review and contract administration services to replace the brick veneer on the east elevation.
Concentric was also retained to design and supervise a rehabilitation of the balcony slabs on the east and west elevations of the building. Concentric prepared tender documents to conduct localized balcony slab repairs, install new pre-engineered aluminum railings and dividers and install a new architectural coating on exposed concrete.
